Living with an English person who grew up eating beans on toast has definitely made beans a staple in my household. For the past few months, I’ve had a can of cannellini beans staring at me every time I opened the cupboard. I remember picking them up from the grocery store after seeing a few brothy bean recipes on my Instagram feed, but the reality is the only brothy beans I would want to eat are Ginisang Munggo and Kadyos.
