Kitchen Tours: Upton Home
Design inspirations, dream dinner parties, staying organized, and more.
Mariel and Michael Upton are the founders of Upton Home, a Southern California-based design studio that produces high-quality artwork and home goods. From prints and sculptures to throws and wine racks, every piece is crafted with attention to detail and designed to last. The couple puts warmth, comfort, and beauty at the forefront of their work, and you can see this translated into their own home. It’s such a pleasure to have Mariel and Michael featured here on Kitchen Gems. I hope you enjoy this tour and interview as much as I did.

One of our favorite things is that all the countertops are butcher block, so there’s plenty of space for multiple people to spread out while chopping and prepping.
